Anyone can be a member! Membership is FREE.
If this is your first time here, you'll need
to fill up a membership form and we require the following information:
- a driver's license or photo ID,
- a credit card (Visa or Master card only),
- a phone number and address.
For your convenience, when you sign up if you have us add your photo to your account you will be able to rent each subsequent time without
having to show your ID each time ~ and if you elect to use prepaid rentals ~ you can come in from a jog in the park empty
handed and go home with movies!
The small print not so small so that you can't read it:
All rental charges are due at the time they occur.
By signing a membership form you agree that we can charge your credit card account for the following unpaid charges:
- Movies returned "late" (beyond your contracted return date) and not paid for at time of return.
Each extra rental day is $2 (as of 7/1/10).
- The full value of the rented item upon failure by the cardholder or other authorized person to return said rented items within 10 days
of its due date, in addition to 10 day extra rental days ($20 as of 7/1/10).
- Any damage to returned items whatever the cause shall be charged a repair fee if fixable or the full retail price if deemed beyond repairs.
- Le Video, Inc. may pursue other remedies other than preparing &
submitting credit card slips if it elects to do so.
- Returned checks are subject to a service charge matching what the bank charges us (currently upward of $45). In case of non-reimbursement we will
pursue all legal remedies and send the account to collection in the amount described below.
California Civil Penalties are: Amount due, damages of treble the amount so owing, but in no case less than $100 or more than $1,500. [Civil Code 1719(a)(2) ]. (This means up to 3 times the amount of the check, all the fees, damages, minimum $100 and maximum $1,500
California Criminal Penalties are: Where amount is less than $200 and is first offense, up to one year in county jail.
- It is important to note that we carry many RARE movies and that the "replacement" value can fetch upward of $800 per movies. Those values plus the costs associated to finding a replacement if at all possible will be the amount we seek to recover.

Frequent renters can save money by purchasing pre-paid rental packages.
- Return movies before CLOSING time on due date
- New Releases are 2 nights / 3 days, making them available more frequently
- One WEEK rental (7 nights / 8 days) for ALL titles including many new arrival (except New Releases)
- Low extra day rental: $2.00*
- Early Return Credit:
1 Point for a new release returned the next day before closing time
- 1 Point for each paid rental
- 10 Points = 1 FREE rental
- Hold your movies by using Prepaid Rentals
- Members receive one free rental on their birthdays with one paid rental
- Members are allowed up to 8 rentals on their account at one time.
- Purchase of movies valued at $19.95 or more
on a membership account receive a free rental.
